Russian Folders

As a rule, Russian cameras can be very excellent users, they are after all, copies of some of the best German designs in “folderdom.”

This is particularly true of the Mockva 2,3,4,5 which are copies of the Zeiss Super Ikonta C and the Iskra I & II which are copies of the Agfa Super Isolette. If you find a good solid example of these, they will serve you well and have excellent lenses and very decent shutters.

On the minus side, you have to be careful buying one because their mechanical materials and fitting was just not up to Zeiss or Agfa standards and thus did not help these cameras in the longevity department.
